In this show nishakudama (60cm balls) fireworks were shot out to 500m in the air and then opened to 480m in circumference. Due to the safety limitations these balls can only be shot in certain areas. Preparation began early in the morning to avoid the daytime heat. Our company only shoots nishakudama fireworks a couple of times a year so we had to really focus as to make no mistakes. We carefully prepared and patiently waited for the time to shoot them. After shooting big sized fireworks and Wide Starmine the atmosphere in the audience began to peek. Then the nishakudama fireworks were shot out with a thunderous roar and opened up into grand chrysanthemums filling the summer night sky. The audience excitement hit its peek. |
